Governance in Film Series

The GEG Project has produced two documentaries for the Governance in Film Series:

  • Quest for Symphony (2009) reflects on the challenges of the system of global environmental governance. It has been called “the white paper on global environmental governance in images.”

  • Quest for Leadership (2010) recounts the story of environmental governance through the eyes of individuals who created and led national and international institutions for environment and development

We also just launched a new video series called Global PerspectivesIn this exciting new series, we feature leaders from governments, academia, international organizations and other institutions giving frank interviews on global environmental governance.

The videos include perspectives on the science policy interface, the Rio+20 conference and the reform process of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and engagement of civil society in global environmental governance. The series is designed to complement the Global Leadership Dialogues, our newest publication featuring interviews with global leaders like Gus Speth, Christiana Figueres and Stanley Johnson.
