On May 5th, 2013, Dean Ira Jackson of the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies interviewed Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC. The interview aired on the Commonwealth Journal Program of WUMB radio, available at 91.9 FM in the Metro Boston Area.

Ms. Figueres has a wealth of experience working on the international environmental governance; she is a prolific author, an influential thinker and organizer, and now head of the international effort to combat climate change. Dean Jackson represented the new PhD cohort in Global Governance and Human Security at UMass Boston, some of whom work on the kinds of international governance issues that Ms. Figueres deals with everyday.
