Research Associate Position

Green Boston Harbor Project at the Center for Governance and Sustainability

University of Massachusetts Boston

The Center for Governance and Sustainability at the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston is seeking a Research Associate for the Green Boston Harbor Project. The Associate will assist in creating and supporting holistic programs for environmental sustainability that integrate research, education, and stewardship. It will require research, analysis and writing, skills and correspondence, document and database management, project management and coordination.

Location: The Associate will join a team of researchers at UMass Boston and will work at the UMass Boston campus, with the option of some telecommuting. The Associate will report to Dr. Anamarija Frankic.

Duration and compensation: 10 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and running through June 30 2012. Timing and hours are flexible. This is a paid, non-benefitted position.

Barbara Shepard joined the GEG team in June 2011 working as a research intern for the World Watch Institute. She now works for the project as the center coordinator for the Center for Governance and Sustainibility. Barbara graduated from Tufts University in 2010 with a degree in International Relations.
