UPDATE: Live Webcast and Twitter Participation for Christiana Figueres Lecture

On Wednesday, April 24th, UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres will present on climate change at the annual Slomoff Lecture at the UMass Boston. The lecture is entitled  “From Climate Conflict to Climate Action: Capturing the Greatest Opportunities of Our Generation.”  She will speak from 2-3:30 (EST).

The lecture will be live webcast at the following address (the link will not be live until 1:45pm [EST]): http://vpc1.umb.edu/SlomoffLecture_042413

Leading up to and during the lecture, anyone can tweet questions for Ms. Figueres by using the hashtag #slomoff or by tweeting @conresglobal. Students from the McCormack School of Policy and Global Studies will field questions from twitter and present a selection of the question to Ms. Figueres, who will then answer them during the webcast.
