Environmental Scholars from Asia study Island Sustainability

From Hawaii 24/7, 22 June 2010

20 undergraduate students from communities in South-East Asia traveled to Hawaii and DC for an environmental leadership program sponsored by the State Department. The GEG Project hosted the students at the Woodrow Wilson Center this past 22 June for the workshop “International Collaboration on Global Environmental Issues.” Hawaii 24/7 reports.

GEG Project Highlighted for Contributions to IEG in 2009

The Glion Forum in 2009, which brought together the past, present, and future environmental leaders in order to rediscover the past, analyze the present and imagine the future of global environmental governance. The 2009 UNEP Annual Report and 2010 UNEP Yearbook cited the historic event as one of the key events in international environmental governance in 2009.
