Description: The United Nations Environment Programme is accepting applications for its North American Tunza Youth Network, representatives play an active role in spreading understanding and mitigation practices for climate change. The aim is to increase awareness of resource conservation led by university and high school students who will use educational events to reach out to their communities.

2011 Leopold Leadership Fellowship is currently accepting applications

Description: The mission of the Leopold Leadership Program is to advance environmental decision making by providing academic environmental scientists with the skills and connections they need to be effective leaders and communicators.  20 Fellows will be selected to participate in an intensive training program designed to build and enhance their skills in communicating with policy makers, media representatives, business leaders, nonprofit organizations, and the general public.
